Test this one before you buy it because it is not a neutral - for all skins fragrance. yes this is a basic smell but i love it! Nothing else. The simplistic sugary-sweetness reminds me of Bath and Body Works-esque scents. I don't know anything about La Vie Est Belle Bouquet De Printemps but for sure this En Rose is a flanker of La Vie Est Belle, if not one of the best LVEB flankers to be accurate. Flowerbomb, on the other hand, rounds out the sugar scent with a bit of spice and tartness that I feel elevates it to being a more womanly scent. Too beautiful and too nostalgic for me. Everytime I smell it on others (which is quite often sadly) I compliment them because it just smells so good. Very makeup counter, very easy, very girly. That's the impression this perfume has had on me from the first time I smelled it. It smelled like a mix of LVEB and Gucci Rush. Leaves a thick trail and lasts amazingly long (but definitely not as strong as it used to be when it was first released). Its sweet, fruity and floral and I guess there is something candy-like in this but its mostly a syrupy smell, not sickly sweet. A little bit rose maybe in the beginning. This is not an elegant mixture but it is not unpleasant either. Projection is a few feet, sillage can be 2+ days on clothes. There is absolutely a good reason why it is the reigning queen of fragrance right now.. it just smells good, plain and simple. It makes me smile when I smell it. She is classy but not a snob, she is sweet, but not an easy catch, she announces herself when she walks in the room and demands respect. It is syrupy sweet, more on fruity side, I don't think it smells spicy like other people wrote. Just...no! One of the most well rounded beautiful fragrances. I can’t find anything redeeming about it besides the strong projection, but even then with a fragrance this intensely nauseating that is a huge con for me.
